Your first visit can happen from your own sofa. You choose where you sit, we ask about your day, look at how you move and teach you a few things to try, and we plan what comes next with you. Our therapists are licensed in Idaho. Prefer to talk first? Book a free 15-minute phone call.

What we do

Physical therapy for your pelvic floor and your core

Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that support your bladder, bowel and uterus, and work with your breathing, back and hips. A pelvic health physical therapist looks at how they work together and teaches you what to practice.

Our care is for you if

  • You are planning a pregnancy and want to understand how your body moves

  • You are expecting, and your back, hips or pelvis feel different

  • You had a baby and want a plan for returning to exercise

  • You leak, rush to the bathroom or strain, at any age

  • Sex or a pelvic exam is uncomfortable, and you want to talk about it

Your first visit

What happens at your first visit

About an hour, start to finish. You decide what happens, and we explain each step first.

  1. Step 1: We start with your questions

What you want to know, what is on your mind and what you would like to be able to do.

  2. Step 2: We look at how you move

How you stand, breathe and move, on video or in the room. Nothing is done without your yes.

  3. Step 3: You try a few things

Breathing, positions and a few exercises you can use at home that same day.

  4. Step 4: We plan what comes next

What to practice, what decides how many visits you need and when we will check in.

Paying for care

A self-pay practice, in plain words

  • You pay us directly

We do not bill Medicare or other plans. You pay for each visit when you come.

  • An estimate first

We send a written estimate before your first visit, so you know what to expect. It is not a contract.

  • A receipt for your plan

After each visit you get a detailed receipt. A plan may reimburse some of it, and the plan decides.

Questions people ask first

Do I need a referral?

In Idaho, you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one. We tell you if we think your physician or midwife should see you first.

Do you take insurance or Medicare?

We do not bill Medicare or other plans. You pay us directly, and we give you a receipt you can send to your plan. Your plan decides whether it reimburses you.

Will I need an internal exam?

Not necessarily. It is always your choice. We explain what it involves, ask for your consent first, and you can stop at any time. Many visits have none.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. You can bring a partner, a friend or your baby, and on video they can join the call.

How long is a visit, and who treats me?

Your first visit is about an hour with a physical therapist, one-on-one. Your therapist stays with you for the whole visit.
