Before pregnancy
Planning a pregnancy
Physical therapy for adults who are thinking about pregnancy, trying, or working with a fertility clinic. Our care is about how your pelvic floor, hips, core and breathing work. It is not fertility treatment, and we cannot say it changes your chances of becoming pregnant.
This care is for you if
You want to understand how your body moves before you are expecting
Sex or a pelvic exam is uncomfortable, and you want to talk about it
You are working with a fertility clinic and want movement care that fits your plan
You want to start strength and breathing work before pregnancy

What a visit looks like
What we do
Your therapist asks what you would like to understand, watches how you breathe and move, and teaches you exercises and positions. An internal exam is always your choice, and we ask first.
What decides how many visits
What your therapist finds, what you want to do and how your plans change. Your therapist talks it through with you and checks in as you go.
How it is paid for
You pay us directly. We send a written estimate before your first visit.
How fees work
- Chest pain, trouble breathing, a sudden severe headache or pain, new weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fall with a head injury needs emergency care now. Call 911.
Questions about this care
Do you work with my fertility clinic?
With your permission, we share notes with your clinic or your provider and follow their guidance on what to do and what to wait for.
Do I need a referral?
In Idaho, you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one.
Can we do this by video?
Yes. Most of what we do is talking, watching and teaching, and it can happen on video. Our therapists are licensed in Idaho.
Book a first visit
On video or in our room. Tell us what is on your mind when we talk. We do not ask for it in the form.
