Pregnancy
During pregnancy
Physical therapy for the months you are expecting, with your obstetric provider's guidance. We look at how you stand, move and breathe as your body changes, and teach you what to practice.
This care is for you if
Your back, hips or pelvis feel different as your body changes
You want to prepare your breathing and your pelvic floor for birth
You want to keep exercising and are not sure what is right for you now
You would like to talk it through with someone who has the time

What a visit looks like
What we do
Your therapist asks about your pregnancy and your day, watches how you stand and move, and teaches breathing, positions and exercises you can use at home. We offer an internal exam only if you ask for one and agree to it.
What decides how many visits
Where you are in your pregnancy, what your therapist finds and what you want to do. Your therapist talks it through with you and checks in as you go.
How it is paid for
You pay us directly. We send a written estimate before your first visit.
How fees work
- Chest pain, trouble breathing, a sudden severe headache or pain, new weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fall with a head injury needs emergency care now. Call 911.
Questions about this care
Do I need a referral?
In Idaho, you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one. Your obstetric provider is welcome to know you are coming, and we share notes with them when you ask us to.
When in my pregnancy can I come?
At any point. Tell us if your provider has asked you to limit activity, and we follow their guidance.
Can we do this by video?
Yes. Many people start on video from home, and come to our room later if they want hands-on care. Our therapists are licensed in Idaho.
Book a first visit
On video or in our room. Tell us what is on your mind when we talk. We do not ask for it in the form.
